***For the next six (6) weeks, 4th graders will learn about WV History.  They will use My State Notebook as a guide for their study and research.  A list of pictures needed to complete this notebook will be sent home.  Much of the work will be done during class time.  Students will bring their notebook home for a few days and  you may assist them in completing it, it will be due Friday, February 23, 2018.  My State Notebook will count as a test grade and will be graded based on accuracy, neatness and information used to complete  the notebook such as pictures, maps and etc.

***Computer assignment***   4th grade students have been given an assignment from computer lab,  it is due next Wednesday, November 1.  They have a 2 page handout with instructions.  The report can be handwritten as the information will be used to type their report in computer lab.

For science and history, students will be studying comprehension check questions, terms to remember and anything in bold print.  Study guides will be sent home for students to study for tests.

If a student does not complete their homework, they may be required to take part of their recess and complete the assignment.

Students brought home a list of suggested pictures or snapshots that will be needed to complete their notebook for WV History.  We have discussed different sources for pictures and some of  these are WV maps, pamphlets and brochures promoting WV tourism.  If you have questions, let me know.  We will be working on this project for the next 5 weeks.
