Week of October 5, 2015

The Literacy Fair was a huge success, three (3) fourth graders have the opportunity to go to the County Literacy Fair.


Our field trip scheduled for Wednesday of last week was cancelled due to the weather.  If the event is rescheduled, we will notify you.


Spelling pre-test is scheduled for Tuesday and the test will be Wednesday, October 7, 2015.


Students will begin reading  Song of the Brook. A book report will be due the last week of October and will be completed in class.

Week of Sept 28th

Fourth graders have a busy week planned:


Monday, Sept 28,   Field Trip NCHS auditorium, musical presented by Ivy & Stone Council for the Arts


Wednesday, Sept 30   Field Trip    Grandview    Students will see a live performance by Theater West Virginia and take part in activities to learn about WV History

Bible Memory Verses

Test Date:  September 28th

 

 

 

Fourth graders have been working diligently this week to finish assignments in class.
Homework will be assigned every night except Wednesdays.  I will send home a Homework assignment sheet, however students are learning to copy their assignments in their planners. 

 

A quick check by parents to ensure assignments:

 

•  have been completed
•  back in their binders
•  returned the following day  

will be greatly appreciated.
